Adesso Bistro Opening

On June 2nd I attended the opening of Adesso Bistro a new Italian restaurant specializing in Ligurian cuisine. The location is one of my favourites for a restaurant in the city, it is a wonderful hideaway well situated in the West End in close proximity to Stanley Park.

I met up with the Chefs Team (shown above) for a little tour of the kitchen and a Behind the Scenes look. In the dining room and on the outside patio, the mood was upbeat as invited guests mingled about drinking Cocktails, Wine, Beer and eating the tasty Appies and desserts.

Adesso Bistro is now open at 1906 Haro Street in the Westend.

    My family and I used to eat a Cioppino's on a somewhat regular basis, however the last few times we dined there we found the food and service more and more inconsistant. When I heard about Adesso Bistro and that Sean's team was backing it I had to try it.

    It was excellent, I had the bison carpachio, the carbonara and the poussin and finished with Jason's affagato. Everything was magnificent, Carbonara pasta is a long time favourite of mine and I think the one I had there was the best I have ever had. We already have a reservation to go back. I think <for my family> this is our new cioppino's.
