Project Empty Bowl

Great night supporting a wonderful charity was held on June 10th at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel benefiting “A Loving Spoonful”. The event “Project Empty Bowl” raised thousands of dollars from a very successful live and silent auction as well as from proceeds of the largest number in attendance ever at this annual event.

Chefs and the Butter Chicken

Silent Auction

We enjoyed eating the Butter Chicken, Rice and Vegetables as this was the favourite of the food stations.

I loved this idea of being able to choose a bowl from the huge selection of wrapped bowls that were generously donated by potters from all over BC. This special one of a kind bowl was used as my eating bowl.

Project Empty Bowl June 10

When people first come in they register and then select a wrapped bowl that has been generously donated by potters from all over BC. This special one of a kind bowl (theirs to keep) will be used as their eating bowl when they visit the 2 chef attended/action stations. There will also be passed canapés. It is truly a fabulous evening featuring a live auction (the gallery is up on our website at www.alovingspoonful.org ) a 120 item silent auction and raffle.
