Catching the Next Wave March 26

To blend or not to blend? April 8th

That is the question!  Blends are often misjudged as inferior to wines made from a single variety.  Yet Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, two of France’s most well-known wines, have their foundations in combining different grape varieties and their ‘recipes’ have been copied in wine regions throughout the world.  We will pour fantastic examples of these famous blends as well as impersonators from around the globe. Find out why a winemaker would blend grapes together and taste what each variety brings to the final wine.
